DEL-AIR is a growing industry leader with seven locations serving Central Florida - Clermont, Davenport, Tampa, Jacksonville, Melbourne, Sanford (headquarters), and Sarasota.
Primary Responsibilities: Performing RNC Service Tech on air conditioning units in residential homes for customers.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
- Performs start-ups on new HVAC equipment.
- Braze and solder various metals to connect piping
- Install, modify, or repairs air ducts, indoor unit, drain pans, drain lines, and outdoor units
- Install and calibrate thermostats, humidistats, solenoids, and timers
- Inspect inoperative indoor or outdoor units to locate causes of trouble
- Disassemble indoor or outdoor units, and replace or repair defective parts
- Perform preventive maintenance on drain cleaning, coil sanitizing, and motor lubrication
- After repairs, completely evaluate the operations of the equipment using gauges, voltmeters, leak detectors, sling pycnometers, static, and velocity instruments
Qualifications:
- Have a minimum of 1 year of HVAC field experience, preferred
- Graduated from an accredited HVAC technical program, preferred
- Obtain at least an EPA, Type II certification, Universal preferred
- Have obtained a valid driver’s license for at least 15 months, and able to meet FCCI auto guidelines to operate a company-owned vehicle.
- Must be able to work on an on-call rotation, when assigned.
- Be experienced with low & high voltage wiring
- Customer skills
- Eligible to legally work in the United States.
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.
