Position Summary
The Clerical Support Representative role is responsible for supporting the Accounting/Administration by performing clerical duties, special projects, and general tasks as assigned. In an extremely fast paced environment, the support clerk assists with the processing of correspondence, Logs incoming checks, and performs dispute research along with many other duties as assigned. This position supports the VP of Finance & Operations administrative duties. Essential Responsibilities- Open, sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail
- Review files, records, and other documents to obtain information to respond to requests
- Answer telephones and assist customers
- Assist with basic bookkeeping, Journal entries, and other accounting transactions as needed
Other Responsibilities
- Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
- Train other staff members to perform work activities, such as using computer applications
- Other duties as assigned
Skills
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:- 40 WPM Typing
- Proven oral and written communications skills
- Good analytical, problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in fast paced environment.
- Able to perform duties independently without direct supervision.
- Proficient with MS Outlook, Word and Excel
Education
- Minimum High School diploma, or equivalent
Experience
- 3+ Years of experience working in an office environment
