Grapple Truck Driver (CDL A/B)

We are currently seeking a dedicated CDL A or B - Grapple Truck Driver to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional service. This position requires relocation to Fort Myers, FL. Relocation is not paid be company.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport horticulture green waste, hardwood, and other materials.
• Transport materials between job sites, mulch farms, and customer locations.
• Read and interpret customer orders accurately.
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections at the beginning and end of each day.
• Monitor hydraulic hoses, fans, filters throughout the day and ensure all parts are working properly.
• Adhere to safety procedures and regulations at all times.
• Communicate effectively in English to complete forms such as Bill of Ladings and discuss routes with the dispatcher.

Qualifications

• Minimum 25 years of age with an excellent driving record.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License, Class A or B CDL, with at least 3 years of experience. Able to drive a manual 10-speed Mack with no automatic transmission restrictions.
• Maintains own tools for minor repairs.
• Ability to make repairs to hoses, etc.
• Strong customer service skills, self-motivation, and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong work ethic.
• Exceptional knowledge of local roads and routes.
• Physical ability to climb a ladder, lift up to 70 lbs, and follow safety regulations.
