• Drafting: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create accurate and detailed technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics. Structural steel detailing.
• Interpretation of Designs: Understand and interpret rough sketches, drawings, and specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers.
• Precision and Accuracy: Ensure that all drawings are precise, accurate, and comply with industry standards, regulations, and project requirements.
• Material and Dimensional Specifications: Incorporate material specifications, dimensions, and tolerances into drawings as per project requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project goals, requirements, and constraints. Collaborate on design modifications and improvements as needed.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all drawings, revisions, and project-related correspondence.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews and checks of drawings to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
• Meeting Deadlines: Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines and milestones.
• Communication: Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to provide updates on drawing progress, address concerns, and seek clarification on specifications or requirements.
• 
  Stay updated on advancements in CAD software, industry standards, and best practices for drafting and detailing. Continuous Learning:

Detailer Requirements:

• 5 years of experience with Tekla Structures or SDS2. Working with Structural and Miscellaneous Steel Projects.
• Knowledge of or some experience in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of AISC, AISD, and OSHA Standards
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English.
