DG is currently seeking a well-rounded Accounts Payable Clerk to join our dynamic Accounting/Finance Team. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to handle our company's bills and manage the accounts payable ledger effectively. Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of accounts payable functions, including weekly payment duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare and reconcile invoices, purchase orders, debit/credit memos, and other financial documents.
- Obtain necessary approvals and signatures for payments.
- Conduct regular audits and verify expense reports for accuracy.
- Maintain accurate accounting ledgers by posting transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and updating vendor information.
- Record sales taxes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist with document preparation and records management in accordance with company policies.
- Perform
additional tasks assigned by management
- Follows all
DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility
Engineer/Safety Director
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years' experience in an accounting environment, with a strong understanding of accounts payable principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (e.g., Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Excellent
written and verbal communication skills in English
