Project Manger (Infrastructure/Operations)
Kforce has a client in Pensacola, FL that is seeking a Project Manager (Infrastructure/Operations). Summary: The Project Manager is a vital position responsible for the planning, organizing, and managing the internal and external resources, transition milestones, and deliverables that are subset of the overall transformation program plane for the respective Service Towers. The I&O operations transformation program involving moving ticket resolution work to an external managed services provider involving all the activities required of the Knowledge Transition, stabilization, and strategy state. Duties:
- Work with the Program leadership team to establish the various project plans and milestones for each Infrastructure Service Area
- Engage with Service Delivery leader of each Services Area to drive execution of the plan
- Manage PMs from Services Provider to manage transition of services form the internal staff to external staff
- Manage Risks, Issues, and Action items
- Facilitate issues resolution and decision making
- Manage escalations
- Provide updates to Program leadership on the project progress
- Experience in Infrastructure Managed services outsourcing knowledge transitions
- Experience in managing contract execution for typical infrastructure outsourcing
- Familiarity with the managing knowledge transition during typical outsourcing across following Service Areas - Networking, Data Center and Tools, Cybersecurity, Hybrid Cloud Operations, Back-up and Storage, Digital Workplace, etc.
- Familiarity with implementation the SLAs
- Experience with managing Infrastructure Policies and Procedure manual creation during Knowledge Transition
- Experience in managing Managed Service provider resources onboarding and tracking
