Offensive Cyber Operations Lead
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Offensive Cyber Operations Lead in Tampa, FL. Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced cybersecurity assessments and offensive security initiatives to identify and reduce organizational risk
- Conduct security testing across applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and user-facing systems
- Evaluate security controls, detection capabilities, and incident response processes to improve overall security effectiveness
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and recommend solutions
- Support security strategy, operational improvements, and process enhancements across the organization
- Develop reports and presentations that communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to diverse audiences
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to team members while fostering continuous improvement
- Coordinate internal and third-party security testing activities and ensure alignment with compliance requirements
- 7+ years of cybersecurity experience with a focus on security testing, threat assessment, or offensive security activities
- Experience leading complex security initiatives and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience identifying security risks, evaluating controls, and supporting remediation efforts
- Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams and influencing strategic security decisions
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technology environments, networks, operating systems, identity platforms, and cloud services
- Familiarity with security monitoring, incident response, and risk management practices
- Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts and risk considerations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Relevant security certifications and advanced technical training preferred
