Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager is responsible for leading the firm’s business development efforts with a focus on the AEC industry. Reporting directly to the President, this role supports strategic growth by strengthening client relationships, advancing aligned opportunities, and expanding market presence.

This position requires a deep understanding of the AEC market, a well-established professional network, and a proven record of driving strategic growth and client engagement in both public and private sectors.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8–10+ years of progressive business development experience within the AEC industry.
• Strong understanding of AEC delivery methods, procurement processes, and market dynamics.
• Demonstrated success developing and advancing strategic business opportunities within competitive AEC markets.
• Proven ability to build and sustain long-term, trust-based client and partner relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, strategic thinker capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign), CRM platforms (UNANET or similar), and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Positive attitude and commitment to contributing as an active member of an employee-owned company culture.
