Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans in accordance with patient needs, goals, and physician direction
• Conduct 60-minute evaluations and treatments, ensuring functional treatment programs are designed to support effective return to community activities
• Complete medical record documentation in a clear, concise, accurate, and timely manner, including goal writing, functional quality indicator assessments, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry in compliance with state, federal, and intermediary guidelines
• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services for assigned patients, ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders and within insurance approvals
• Participate in student programs as assigned, providing supervision, developing learning objectives, and completing student evaluations
• Adhere to discipline-specific State Practice Act and regulatory requirements, maintaining professional licensure in good standing and fulfilling all continuing education requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist licensure in good standing in the state of Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist
• Experience in an outpatient therapy setting
• Proficiency in clinical documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Commitment to patient and employee safety standards, including safe patient handling and infection control practices

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience supervising or mentoring Physical Therapy students
• Demonstrated involvement in continuing education, professional organizations, or self-directed professional development
• Familiarity with performance improvement methodologies and quality improvement initiatives
