Job Title: Customer Service Representatives
Department: Sales
Reports To: President/VP Sales/Plant Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Back Up: Customer Service Representatives
SUMMARY
To provide the best value to the customer. Value=service, fair price, quality product and ease of doing business with us.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist customers with all telephone inquiries.
- Quote customers on products.
- Process orders-Order Entry.
- Confirm lead time on quotes and orders.
- Confirm/update current pricing.
- Expedite any urgent orders.
- Follow up on quotes.
- Work with Outside Sales Managers as a team to establish and maintain customer relationships.
- Provide samples to customers and salesmen.
- Gather information for customer complaints and returns
- Process product testing.
- Maintain customer addresses/contact information.
- Confirm order changes/cancellations, etc.
- Mail introduction letters to new prospective customers
- Other duties may be assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
2 years of related experience and or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to complete reports and forms associated with the position: Ability to communicate effectively orally, and in writing
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations: Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
