Janitorial Overnight Supervisor

The Janitorial Overnight Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all overnight cleaning operations to ensure a safe, clean, and compliant facility. This role ensures that all janitorial staff follow established procedures, meet quality standards, and support the company’s commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and direct overnight janitorial staff, ensuring all assigned areas are cleaned according to company standards.
• Manage daily work assignments, shift schedules, and task distribution for the overnight team.
• Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with client and company expectations.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to team members to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and submit replenishment requests as needed.
• Address any incidents or operational issues that arise during the overnight shift.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Complete and submit nightly reports to management, noting progress, issues, and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or team lead experience in janitorial or facility maintenance operations preferred.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to work overnight shifts consistently.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and safety regulations.
