Sr. IT Manager
Job Summary: Sr. IT Project Manager (Windchill 13 Upgrade)
Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional project teams consisting of business, quality, and IT professionals engaged in planning and implementing solutions of varying sizes and complexities. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of the Windchill+ v13+ upgrade, with a strong emphasis on quality systems compliance, validation, and enterprise alignment.
- Lead the planning and execution of the Windchill 13 upgrade, ensuring alignment with business continuity, platform modernization, and compliance objectives.
- Ensure project scope and costs are agreed upon by all stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed project plan and implementation schedules that incorporate stakeholder requirements and the nine areas of knowledge from the Project Management Body of Knowledge®.
- Manage change control processes and oversee overall project execution.
- Work independently on projects of any size, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Serve as the escalation point for project risks and issues, applying active problem-solving to identify and implement alternative solutions.
Quality & Compliance Oversight:
- Oversee quality-related deliverables including validation protocols, in accordance with FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.
- Collaborate with Quality Systems Managers, CSV leads, and PLM/PDM owners to validate BOM structures, ECN workflows, and product data governance.
- Ensure seamless integration between Windchill and SAP NSP/ECC systems to support release management and quality traceability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
- Conduct internal and vendor inquiries to support technology and information systems development.
- Provide regular status updates, milestone tracking, and risk/issue reporting to all stakeholders and sponsors.
- Maintain strong working relationships with customers and vendors, including coordination with PTC, Kalypso, and Acnovate.
Preferred Skills & Competencies:
- Scrum Master / Agile certification.
- PMI's Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification or equivalent.
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in tools such as Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Smartsheets, and MS Project.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree + 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree + 6 years of related experience.
- Minimum 8 years of experience actively leading IT projects of medium size and/or scope with complex matrixed teams.
- Experience in regulated industries, especially medical validation projects.
- Deep understanding of PLM platforms (e.g., PTC Windchill), PDM processes, and QMS platforms supporting CAPA, audit readiness, and compliance.

Preferred Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional).
- CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) or CSMA (Advanced ScrumMaster).
Leadership Style:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate global teams.
- Ability to communicate effectively between stakeholders and technical teams and be able to present in front of executive-level audiences.
Methodologies:
- Expertise in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, and DevOps.
Domain Experience: Experience in any of the following domains:
- Experience in regulated industries, with a strong preference for exposure to medical validation projects.
- Expertise in compliance frameworks like FDA, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- PLM/PDM Expertise: Deep understanding of PLM platforms (e.g. PTC Windchill) and PDM processes, including Bill of Materials (BOM) management, change control, and product data governance.
- Quality Systems Leadership: Experience implementing QMS platforms to support CAPA, audit readiness, document control, and compliance with FDA and other regulatory standards.

Hybrid position - 50% onsite in St. Petersburg, FL.
