Legal Receptionist Needed
We are searching for a flexible legal receptionist. You will be expected to extend a warm greeting to clients and take calls in this position. Your responsibilities as a legal receptionist include organizing mail and deliveries, answering questions, and setting up appointments. You might even be asked to help with filing.
Your ability to communicate clearly and proficiency in standard office procedures will help you succeed as a legal receptionist. In addition, your polished professionalism as our legal receptionist will make an excellent first impression.

The duties of a legal receptionist include:
- Greeting clients and guests at the front desk.
- Professional phone screening, answering, and call forwarding.
- Guiding customers and guests to the location of the legal staff.
- Appointment making and confirmation.
- Maintaining a professional appearance and following business decorum.
- Ensuring that deliveries, faxes, and mail go to the correct recipients.
- Ordering and restocking goods for the workplace.
- Managing office equipment maintenance and repair.
- Helping with note-taking, copying, scanning, faxing, emailing, and booking trips.
- Setting up meeting spaces and, if necessary, making arrangements for refreshments.
- A high school diploma or GED is required for legal receptionist positions.
- Formal training in secretarial work, office administration, or a related field.
- Preferably has a paralegal degree or equivalent training.
- It will be desirable to have prior legal receptionist experience.
- Knowledge of legal jargon, paperwork, and filing.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
- Extensive working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, call forwarding, and appointment scheduling software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
