As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Full Coverage in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic government location. In this role, you will actively monitor assigned areas, conduct regular patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong, visible presence. You will also interact with the public, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the designated location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor for suspicious or unusual behavior and report findings to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain a professional presence while carrying a firearm as required by the post profile and adhere to all applicable laws and company policies regarding armed security-related duties.
• Document all incidents, observations, and activities in a timely and accurate manner as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Assist local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as required during incidents.
• Interact with employees, visitors, and/or the public to provide assistance and information as needed.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of three years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess a current armed guard card or license as required by local regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Hold a valid handcuffing certification, which may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
