Job Title: Assembler

Shift: 7am-4:30pm

Pay: $20-24/hr

Job Description

The Assembler or Truck Upfitter will be responsible for the upfitting of service trucks, vans, and trailers. This role involves outfitting mobile hose repair vehicles equipped with hydraulic and industrial hoses and fittings to restore customers' equipment. The assembler will remove interiors of trucks, vans, and trailers, including seating, and install cabinets, lighting, racks, hose racks, and other necessary stationary products to complete a service truck.

Responsibilities

• Upfit service trucks, vans, and trailers.
• Remove interiors of trucks, vans, and trailers, including seating.
• Install cabinets, lighting, racks, and hose racks.
• Ensure all stationary products are installed to complete a service truck.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years working in a mechanical field such as car mechanic, truck assembly, or truck outfitting.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, including impact drills and wrenches.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical knowledge, including 24volt, 120 single phase, and 240 single phase, is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Previous experience with heavy industrial equipment is a plus.
• Candidates with experience from similar industries could excel in this role.
• Good attitude, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

Work Environment

Work will be conducted within vehicles, requiring comfort with smaller spaces. The shift is from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It's expected that new employees may struggle initially as they learn, but they are encouraged to ask questions and seek guidance.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orange Park, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
