Plant Mechanic, Property Operations - Signia by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Signia by Hilton Orlando and the adjacent, Waldorf Astoria Orlando, 2Official Walt Disney World ® Hotels are searching for a PM Plant Mechanic to join their Property Operations team! Between the 2 properties combined, there are over 1,500 rooms, 12 restaurants and lounges and over 350,000 sq. feet of meeting and event space.

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience for at least 1-2 years, as a Plant Mechanic, preferably in a hotel setting. We are looking for a team player individual that possess hands-on skills, has great communication skills and is well rounded in this field. This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to elevate their hospitality career at a large complex operation.

Shift Pattern: PM shifts: 3:30PM-4PM until 12AM, with flexibility over the weekdays, weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $23.56 per hour

What will I be doing?

As a Mechanic, you would be responsible for maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the hotel's equipment and machinery in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain, monitor, repair and conduct routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safe and efficient operation of hotel equipment and machinery
• Conduct scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment
• Record and report completed repairs and items that require further attention
