Job Title: Business Analyst

Job location: Tallahassee, Florida (Onsite)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support software development initiatives by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and technical teams, facilitate meetings, support testing efforts, and develop clear documentation and training materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and requirements review sessions.
• Develop and maintain process flows, workflows, and system diagrams using tools such as Visio.
• Participate in software testing activities, including test planning, test execution, and defect tracking support.
• Create and maintain user guides, training guides, and end-user documentation.
• Support project planning, tracking, and reporting activities as needed.
• Ensure requirements and documentation align with project goals and quality standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with software testing .
• Minimum 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Minimum 5 years of experience facilitating meetings and stakeholder discussions.
• Minimum 5 years of experience documenting business and system process flows.
• Proven experience creating user guides and training documentation .
• Experience working with children’s healthcare systems .
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business , or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Children’s Medical Services (CMS) 3.0 Health Information Management System .
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments.
