IT Service Desk Agent
Kforce's client in Miami, FL is seeking an IT Service Desk Agent to provide first level IT support for all end-users via telephone, email or chat. Main responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and voice/data communication systems issues
- Escalating calls when appropriate
- Writing concise, informative service tickets and following up on all tickets in a timely manner, while pursuing issues through to resolution
- Years of Experience: 1-2
- This role requires experience using ticketing systems and writing technical support reports and documentation
- Agent must possess broad knowledge and proficiency with popular operating systems, application software, desktop and laptop computers, printers and networks
- Basic understanding of technology standards
- Ability to perform routine work assignments
- Proficient in basic troubleshooting of IT issues
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to recognize and escalate issues appropriately
