Position Summary:
The Landscape Maintenance Account Manager oversees customer accounts, serving as the primary contact to ensure client satisfaction while fostering growth opportunities. This role focuses 70% on customer service and 30% on business development, requiring excellent interpersonal and industry skills to build strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service (60%)

● Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded expectations.

● Conduct site visits to assess quality, address concerns, and provide service recommendations.

● Communicate service schedules, enhancements, and ongoing projects effectively.

● Manage contracts and maintain accurate client records using company tools.

Business Development (20%)

● Identify and propose additional services or upgrades to existing clients.

● Build relationships with potential clients through networking and outreach.

● Collaborate on proposals and pricing tailored to client needs.

● Stay informed on industry trends via NALP and FNGLA resources.

Personnel Management (20%)

● Communicate via phone call, text and email with maintenance teams.

● Manage the planning and organization of daily operations to ensure that crews understand job priorities, labor needs and schedule changes.

● Ensure material receipts are being turned in and filed properly for record keeping and job costing for the maintenance division.

● Responsible for reviewing recorded time properly for maintenance division for record keeping and job costing.

● Communicate with the maintenance team and designers on projects.

● Manage and schedule teams.

Qualifications:

● Experience in landscape maintenance, preferably in client-facing roles.

● Knowledge of horticultural practices and landscape enhancements.

● Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.

● Familiarity with CRM tools and industry standards.

● Valid driver’s license and transportation for site visits.
