Company Description
eDerm Systems is looking for an experienced Implementation Project Lead that will be responsible for managing the delivery of our growing suite of electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software (PMS) in our dermatology clinics. The successful candidate will be heavily involved in due diligence prior to the implementation, performing gap analysis between existing and future systems, and ensuring implementation tasks are completed timely. You will be the one to ensure that the implementation is well-coordinated, organized and executed. This role requires strong attention to detail and heavy documentation experience.
Job Description
- Perform thorough research and analysis of existing software to fully understand current performance with that of desired and expected performance
- Clearly identify any gaps that may exist between current and future systems
- Manage implementation projects through full lifecycle
- Build project plans, identifying issues and risks, while recommending possible issue and risk mitigation strategies
- Identify critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria
- Ensure performance is within scope, consistent with requirements
- Collaborate with Training and Development to ensure successful execution of implementation
- Analyzes and documents practice requirements and workflows to ensure maximum efficiency
- Extensive travel required - 50%-75%
Qualifications:
- 5 years’ healthcare software implementation experience, specifically EHR implementations at the clinic level.
- Knowledge of EMA, AdvancedMd, Nextech, Care Cloud or other similar practice based EHR systems
- Previous project management experience with the ability to clearly define and map the scope of the project
- Highly skilled at developing efficient, repeatable processes for implementations
- Experience performing due diligence, gap analysis and risk assessments
- Detail oriented, organized, strong documentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and work on multiple projects
- Excellent verbal and communication skills with the ability to find solutions to complex issues in a professional manner
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a focus on collaboration and flexibility when working with both external and internal stakeholders
- Experience in dermatology a major plus
