Salary: $60,000 - $70,000 annually, based on experience

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Mechanic with expertise in commercial frames, doors, interior aluminum storefront systems, glass, glazing, and hardware to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of these systems, including door assemblies, locking mechanisms, and electrified hardware. This role demands precision, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial hardware systems, including smart locks, electrified locks, solid core wood doors, hollow metal frames, and interior aluminum storefront systems.

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

· Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical issues, providing efficient, reliable solutions.

· Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installations meet project specifications and client expectations.

· Maintain accurate service records and provide technical recommendations for system upgrades.

· Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in commercial hardware and glazing technology.

Qualifications:

· Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a mechanic, with at least 3 years specializing in commercial hardware systems (e.g., frames, doors, security hardware, glass, and glazing).

· Certifications: Master Mechanic certification or equivalent preferred; certifications in locksmithing, electrical systems, or automation are a plus.

· Skills: Proficient in reading blueprints, using diagnostic tools, and operating precision instruments. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.

· Attributes: Detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Requirements: Valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
