HIM Specialist II

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $16.49 - $20.16 / hour
Summary
The HIM Specialist II, functions independently with limited supervision by the HIM Supervisor, Manager, Director, facilitates the medical record completion process. Responsible for medical record audit, analysis, and deficiency creation. Actively reports and tracks correction of medical record discrepancies in compliance with Lee Health Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and DNV policies and procedures. Actively participates in outstanding customer service to all internal and external customers, particularly physicians and other providers. Demonstrates excellent communications skills of all types. Works to promote a spirit of teamwork within the department and organization.
