The experienced incumbent in this position will maintain, troubleshoot and repair commercial and residential irrigation systems to a specified high standard.

Requirements

Education : High School or GED

Experience : Prior irrigation experience 1 – 2 years

License, Certification, and/or Registration : Valid Florida Driver’s License

Essential Duties

• Must be able to work flexible hours
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform duties that required a great deal of bending
• Able to use troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
• Ability to work in extreme weather conditions
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn, use of tools, equipment and supplies relative to
• irrigation services
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Experience with water lines, pumps, suction devices, valves and other irrigation equipment
• Ability to use backhoes shovels, augers, and digging equipment
