Photo Editing QA and Customer Support

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a versatile QA & Client Support Specialist who can operate across both quality assurance and client-facing support functions. In this hybrid role, you will review edited media for quality before delivery while also serving as a point of contact for client inquiries, re-edit requests, and order updates. This position is ideal for someone who is both a sharp visual reviewer and a confident communicator — someone who understands what great real estate media looks like and can represent that standard to clients.
QUALITY ASSURANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Review edited real estate photo batches for exposure consistency, color accuracy, sky replacement quality, horizon alignment, and overall presentation
Do virtual staging deliverables for realistic staging, proper scale, material texture, and lighting match to the actual room
Do item removal edits for seamless surface reconstruction with no visible patching or artifacts
Inspecta and create Matterport, Zillow 3D Home, and CubiCasa floor plan and 3D tour
Revise rejected work for clients and their needs
Track and document recurring quality issues to support editor coaching and process improvement
CUSTOMER SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as a primary point of contact for real estate agent clients via email, Slack, and internal platforms
Communicate order statuses, delivery timelines, and proactively notify clients of any delays
Process re-edit requests and relay precise client feedback to the editing team
Manage client expectations around same-day and next-day delivery SLAs
Escalate unresolved issues or pattern complaints to the appropriate team lead
Support new client onboarding and guide agents through the revision and delivery process
REQUIREMENTS
1+ years of hands-on experience in real estate photo editing, virtual staging, or media post-production — you must be able to identify AND fix common editing issues, not just flag them
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop — able to perform exposure corrections, sky replacements, color grading adjustments, and clean item removals independently when needed
Advanced virtual staging knowledge: understanding of furniture scale, perspective matching, lighting consistency, shadow realism, and material textures
Advanced item removal skills: ability to reconstruct floors, walls, ceilings, and surfaces convincingly with no visible patching, cloning artifacts, or texture mismatches
Familiarity with real estate photo editing standards: sky replacements, virtual staging, item removals, twilight edits, and exposure corrections
Strong written English communication skills — able to write clearly to both clients and editors
Highly self-managed and organized with the ability to juggle QA reviews and open client tickets simultaneously
Experience with Slack, [Monday.com]( Notion, or similar remote work tools
Comfortable with fast-paced, high-volume workloads and same-day turnaround expectations
NICE TO HAVE
Direct experience with Aryeo, Matterport, CubiCasa, or Zillow 3D Home
Prior work with a real estate photography/media company
Experience with AI editing tools and awareness of AI artifact detection
Background in virtual staging review or advanced retouching QA
