Optometrist - Ocala, FL
An exciting opportunity is available for an Optometrist to join a dedicated team at a nonprofit, multi-specialty healthcare center in Ocala, FL. This role involves providing comprehensive optometric primary care services in a supportive, nonprofit environment. You will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality patient care while enjoying competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient comprehensive optometric services, including preventative care, health maintenance, and treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with a professional team to ensure exceptional patient care in a compassionate and empathetic manner.
- Participate in outreach and off-site health care programs within the community.
- Complete required documentation and assigned tasks on time using electronic health records.
- Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations while adhering to current disease management protocols.
- Facilitate necessary referrals and represent the organization's values and mission.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
- You will manage 24 patients a day (4 patients per hour) with support from two technicians and front desk staff.
- Employee Benefits:
- Competitive base pay range of $130,000.00 to $150,000.00, depending on experience.

Requirements:
- A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and managing eye conditions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
