ASSISTANT HARBOR MASTER

The Assistant Harbor Master is responsible to support the Harbor Master to oversee the safe and efficient operation of tenders and rescue boats between the Port of Nassau and Royal Beach Club Paradise Island. The key duties include but not limited to managing tender traffic, coordinating safe docking and undocking procedures, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, supervising Water Taxi Team, and maintaining safety and security protocols. This position also monitors weather and sea conditions, handles logistics related to loading and unloading cargo, and serves as the primary point of contact for ships, port authorities, and emergency services related Royal Beach Club Paradise Island to ensure smooth port operations. This Assistant Harbor Master supports the Harbor Master and Operations Director in all operational aspects of Harbor Operations to ensure the Destination performance objectives, KPI’s, Guest and Team Member satisfaction, and other key results areas consistently meet and exceed Company’s targets. This position leads by example and requires exemplary organization, attention to detail, excellent Guest and Team Member engagement, training, knowledge of the product and service standards. Strong leadership, communication skills, and knowledge of maritime regulations are also essential for this role.All duties and responsibilities are performed following Company’s Brand Standards, the Royal Way philosophy, policies, and SOPs, public health, safety, security, and environmental guidelines.
