Assistant Teacher

Summary

Kiddie Academy of Winter Park is eager to welcome a new Assistant teacher into our three year old classroom. Kiddie Academy is a proud leader of early childhood educational practices. The assistant teacher plays a pivotal role in the children's daily activities, education and care.

Duties

• Support the lead teacher in organizing and preparing the classroom environment for daily activities.
• Assist in setting up educational materials and resources to enhance learning experiences.
• Ensure the classroom is tidy, organized, and safe for children at all times.
• Actively supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities to ensure safety and encourage positive social interactions.
• Provide guidance and support during playtime, meal times, and other activities.
• Foster a nurturing environment that helps children feel secure and valued.

Requirements

• Experience in early childhood education and preschool settings
• Willing to attain certifications to continue personal growth in preschool field.
• Passion to educate youth
• Full time availability Monday to Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM

Nice To Haves

• 45 Hours DCF Training Completion
• Childhood Development Associate (CDA) Certification
