Student Literature Evangelist
The Student Literature Evangelist will contact businesses or private individuals in person and by phone to request donations in exchange of books on health, for children and the Bible. They will be distributing these books on a cash donation basis allowing them to earn a scholarship for their education.
Skills, Education, and Experience Required:
- Knowledge of principles, policies, and beliefs of the Florida Conference and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Must possess a participative management style and advocate teams Manship; must be results oriented while maintaining a strong service-oriented philosophy.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in English with management, co-workers, visitors, and vendors.
- Must be able to pay attention to detail and follow instructions.
- Must be a current student at a Seventh-Day Adventist academy or university.
Job Responsibilities:
- Do Field work - Canvass 5 days per week. Explain product and prices and answer questions from customers.
- Submit daily financial reports for the leader’s approval.
- Participate in Sabbath and weekend activities.
- Complete chores in living quarters as directed by leaders
- Must attend worship and training meetings.
