Position Description:

We are looking for a Construction Inspector to join our Construction Team for work in Islamorada, FL. The candidate must have a High School Diploma and 5 to 10 years of experience with water booster pump station jobs. A valid driver's license is required. The candidate must also be self-motivated, work well with others, and have excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.

Typical responsibilities include:

• Conduct field inspections
• Record inspection daily reports
• Monitor construction operations
• Act as the onsite liaison with client and community
• Organize and maintain construction documentation
• Develop an understanding of plans and specifications
• Assist Project Manager with contract requirements
• Prepare forms and other paperwork in a timely manner
• Attend seminars and/or training courses
• Maintain excellent client relations
• Maintain a safe working environment

Education:

• High School Diploma is required

• Civil engineering degree preferred

Skills/Experience:

• 5 to 10 years experience as an inspector

• Experience with water booster pump station jobs - inside the fence work

• Valid driver's license

• This position requires computer knowledge, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as documentation skills at all levels
