Position:

As a Playground Installer, you will play a crucial role in bringing joy to communities by constructing and installing high-quality playgrounds. This position requires a combination of technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating safe and enjoyable play spaces for children. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field, and be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

1. Playground Installation: Execute the installation of playground equipment according to design plans and safety standards.

2. Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by evaluating and clearing the area, ensuring proper drainage, and addressing any potential safety concerns.

3. Equipment Assembly: Assemble and install playground components, including structures, swings, slides, and other features, following manufacturer guidelines and specifications.

4. Safety Compliance: Ensure that all installations meet safety regulations and standards, conducting thorough inspections and quality checks.

5. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to coordinate project timelines and ensure efficient workflow.

6. Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment, reporting any issues to the supervisor to ensure a safe and effective working environment.

7. Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients and end-users, addressing any concerns or questions during the installation process.

Qualifications:

1. Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or a related field is preferred.

2. Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working in various weather conditions.

3. Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate installation and compliance with safety standards.

4. Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow instructions from project managers.

5. Problem Solving: Resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues that may arise during the installation process.

6. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

7. Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different project sites across Florida.
