What you can expect to be doing:

The Human Resources Generalist / Business Partner plays a critical role in supporting the employee lifecycle and enhancing the employee experience across our Southeast regional offices. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position serves as both a hands-on HR practitioner and a strategic partner to local leadership. The Generalist is responsible for delivering responsive, compliant, and business-aligned HR support across our Florida locations, ensuring consistency in the application of policies while adapting to local workforce needs.

This role contributes to the organization’s success by supporting regional operations in key HR functions, including talent acquisition and onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation. The Generalist also plays an integral role in ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws throughout the Southeast region.

Through strong collaboration, relationship-building, and sound judgment, the HR Generalist helps drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and workforce continuity in alignment with both local business objectives and the overall HR strategy.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or generalist role.
  • Knowledge of HR methods and practices, knowledge and ability to interpret and apply state and federal labor laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law preferred.
  • Software skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office skills including advanced functions of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Adobe. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the company’s HRIS system (ADP) and Applicant Tracking System.
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution, coaching, and employee relations.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and strong working relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • SHRM-CP/ SHRM-SCP Professional certification preferred.
