The OpportunityWe're seeking a dynamic Senior Associate/Vice President to join our Multifamily Asset Management team and play a pivotal role in driving the performance of our extensive real estate portfolio. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to work directly with senior leadership, influence strategic decisions, and make a meaningful impact on a growing, high-performing organization.
In this role, you'll be at the center of our multifamily operations, combining analytical rigor with strategic vision to optimize asset performance across diverse markets. You'll have the autonomy to drive initiatives while collaborating closely with our experienced leadership team in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
What You'll DoStrategic Asset Management
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute comprehensive business plans for existing assets and new acquisitions
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis of portfolio operating results, identifying key trends and providing actionable strategic recommendations
- Lead due diligence efforts on potential acquisitions, contributing to investment decisions that shape our portfolio growth
Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with property management teams nationwide to implement strategic initiatives and ensure operational goals are achieved
- Work closely with our capital projects group to oversee renovation and rehabilitation programs that enhance asset value
- Travel regularly to properties across our portfolio, building relationships with on-site teams and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Financial Analysis & Planning
- Review and optimize capital budgets while establishing long-term strategic goals for portfolio assets
- Create sophisticated financial models using historical data to guide investment and operational decisions
- Monitor performance metrics and market trends to identify opportunities for portfolio enhancement
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in multifamily asset management, operations, and acquisitions
- Proven track record managing complex portfolios with significant scale (3,000+ units preferred)
- Industry certifications such as CPM or CCIM are valued
Technical Excellence
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and revenue management platforms (Rent Max/RadiX)
- Strong analytical capabilities with meticulous attention to detail
