With over 500+ exclusive staffing contracts and a dynamic, high-performing team, we are expanding and seeking a passionate, driven, and highly skilled Half Desk Healthcare Recruiter to focus on candidate-side recruiting and talent acquisition.

About the Role

As a Half Desk Recruiter, your focus will be on full-cycle candidate recruitment . You’ll play a vital role in sourcing, qualifying, and matching healthcare professionals to high-demand locum tenens roles across the country—partnering closely with our business development team to deliver exceptional client and candidate experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidate Sourcing & Engagement
  • Proactively source physicians, advanced practice providers, and allied professionals through cold calls, texts, emails, referrals, and digital platforms.
  • Build a deep and active pipeline of high-quality candidates aligned with client needs.
  • Leverage premium recruiting tools including Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, VMS platforms, DocCafe, NursingJobCafe, PAJobSite , and more.

• Recruitment Strategy & Execution
  • Conduct detailed interviews and screenings to ensure clinical and cultural alignment.
  • Guide candidates through the full hiring process—from initial contact to offer acceptance and onboarding.
  • Navigate credentialing, licensing, and compliance with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Relationship Management
  • Build trusted relationships with providers by offering insight, career guidance, and transparent communication.
  • Partner closely with sales and account managers to understand real-time staffing needs and drive effective placements.
  • Maintain detailed candidate records and pipelines using Salesforce CRM.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years of preferably locums experience in healthcare recruitment
• Strong sourcing and screening capabilities using job boards, databases, and outbound outreach
• High comfort level with phone-based communication (50+ calls per day)
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple candidates and requisitions simultaneously with precision

Our Work Environment

This is a Monday–Friday, in-office position (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM) based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL . Remote opportunities are available for top-tier recruiters with verifiable performance and billing success in candidate-side healthcare recruiting who live 200+ miles outside the state of Florida .
