Heavy Duty Mobile Service Mechanic

Pay: Up to $39.00 per hour

Job description:

Position is Monday-Friday (@8 am-5pm) all on lot repairs, no roadside.

TAKE TRUCK HOME

Clean Driving record required

Mobile Diesel Technician

This is FleetPride's technician who will be able to work on most heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs. Emergency Roadside Assistance rotation will allow for overtime hours weekly

Each Technician is assigned their own truck (no truck sharing). No one else will have access except the technician and the upper management.

This is what we're looking for:

• 3-5+ years of repair experience on semi-trucks & trailers as well as gasoline vehicles
• Good communication skills with the service manager, service writer and customers about jobs in progress.
• Ability to provide your own tools.
• Valid DL with good driving record.
• Class A CDL is a plus, but not required.
• Someone who is driven to work efficiently and safely to provide the best service.
• Skillful in preventative maintenance, air systems, electrical diagnosis and repairs, starting systems, brakes, wheel ends, coolant systems, some AC diagnostics and repairs, some steering and alignment issues, drivetrain diagnostics and repairs, removing and replacing differentials, after treatment systems, misc. trailer repairs, ability to work on gasoline and light to medium duty diesel, as well as forklifts and equipment and MORE.
