HVAC Install Technician - FREEDOM Air & Plumbing

We are busy – need to add another Team: Hiring: HVAC INSTALL LEAD as well as an INSTALL TECH IT#2

Location: Rockledge, FL
Schedule: Monday- Friday + Rotating Weekends
Pay: $70,000 – $125,000 annually

What You’ll Do:

• Install residential and light commercial HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork
• Replace or retrofit HVAC systems to meet current efficiency and safety standards
• Install thermostats, controls, and related accessories
• Test system functionality and ensure proper airflow and temperature control
• Collaborate with customers to explain installation process and answer questions
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
• Work closely with dispatch and warehouse to ensure timely job completion
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Other duties as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
• Will need your own tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical school a plus)
• Basic understanding of electrical wiring and connections
• Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics and climb ladders
• Excellent math, people, and problem-solving skills

PREFERRED:

• Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician (preferred but not required)
• Experience with Residential Customers
• Experience in the trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical
• Experience with Service Titan
• EPA Certified preferred
• NATE Certified preferred
