Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Details:

• Work in Cardiac Operating Room with 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 shifts
• Cardiac call required as part of position responsibilities
• Float within scope to meet facility needs when necessary
• Handle cardiac procedures including atrial septal defect repair, coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), MAZE procedure, mitral valve replacement, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
• Work with specialized equipment including cell saver and laser technology
• Manage blood and blood product administration, infection control, and specimen handling
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• Complete time-sensitive modules that must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
• Pass EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• 18 months experience required, 2 years preferred
• First-time travelers accepted
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
