Job Overview:

Serve as a specialist in Federal contracting to assist NAVWAR to research, analyze, develop, and implement contracting / acquisitions related policies and procedures. Work may include but not limited to contracting / procurement method, determining supply requirements, evaluation, supplies, and purchase terms.

Work Model: Hybrid

Compensation: $80,000 Annually

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Job Functions:

• DAWIA Contracting Level I or FAC-C Certification Level I or Industry equivalent (e.g., CPCM or CFCM).
• Experience conducting pre- and post-award contract actions.
• Monitoring and evaluating supplies performance and compliances.
• Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and trends.
• Assist in contract negotiations and drafting procurement agreements.
• Creating and maintain procurement reports and dashboards.

Job Requirements:

Mandatory:

• Bachelor's degree in any technical, managerial, or business discipline or a related subject and relevant experience.
• Must be an U.S. Citizenship.
• Must have Active SECRET Security Clearance.
• Must have a DAWIA Level I or FAC-C Level I Certification.
• Complete all mandatory training requirements per NAVWAR.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Ability to work additional hours as business needs dictate.
• Must be able to successfully pass any employment background checks and/or drug testing required on the contract.
