Cook - Cocinero

Es responsable de la preparacin, coccin y presentacin de platos manteniendo altos estndares de calidad, sabor, limpieza y seguridad alimentaria. Esta posicin requiere organizacin, rapidez, trabajo en equipo y habilidad en la preparacin rpida de los platos del men.

Responsabilidades Principales:

• Preparar noodles, wok, edamames, gyozas y platos afines siguiendo recetas estandarizadas del restaurant para asegurar sabor, textura y presentacin consistentes en cada servicio..
• Asegurar que todos los platos salgan en el tiempo requerido.
• Mantener el rea de trabajo limpia y organizada antes, durante y despus del servicio.
• Controlar porciones, desperdicio y uso adecuado de ingredientes.
• Cumplir con las normas de higiene, manipulacin de alimentos y seguridad establecidas por el Department of Health de Florida.
• Recibir, almacenar, etiquetar y rotar adecuadamente los productos e insumos.
• Colaborar en la limpieza en la apertura y cierre de turno.

Competencias y Habilidades Clave:

• Conocimiento en la preparacin y cortes de platos calientes. ( noodles, wok, edamames, gyozas y platos afines)
• Capacidad de seguir recetas y procedimientos estandarizados.
• Velocidad y precisin en la preparacin de alimentos.
• Atencin al detalle en presentacin y sabor.
• Habilidad para trabajar bajo presin y en equipo.
• Organizacin y limpieza en su estacin de trabajo.
• Responsable, puntual, leal y honrado.
• Actitud proactiva y disposicin a aprender nuevas tcnicas.

Requisitos:

• Experiencia comprobable de al menos 1 ao.
• Permiso de trabajo vigente en EE. UU.
• Disponibilidad para trabajar turnos rotativos, fines de semana y feriados.
• Certificacin de manipulacin de alimentos emitida por el Department of Health de Florida.

Responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, maintaining high standards of quality, flavor, cleanliness, and food safety. This position requires organization, speed, teamwork, and skill in the rapid preparation of menu items.

Main Responsibilities :

• Prepare noodles, wok-style noodles, edamame, gyoza, and related dishes following the restaurant's standardized recipes to ensure consistent flavor, texture, and presentation with each service.
• Ensure all dishes are served in the required time.
• Maintain the work area clean and organized before, during, and after service.
• Control portions, waste, and proper use of ingredients.
• Comply with hygiene, food handling, and safety standards established by the Florida Department of Health.
• Receive, store, label, and properly rotate products and supplies.
• Assist in cleaning at the opening and closing of shifts.
• Key Skills and Competencies:
• Knowledge in the preparation and cutting of hot dishes. (noodles, wok, edamame, gyoza, and related dishes)
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures.
• Speed and accuracy in food preparation.
• Attention to detail in presentation and flavor.
• Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
• Organization and cleanliness at your workstation.

Requirements :

• Verifiable experience of at least 1 year.
• A valid U.S. work permit.
• Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Food handler certification issued by the Florida Department of Health.
