Hyundai-Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, is a Tier 1 OEM genuine parts and accessories supplier to Hyundai and Kia distributors throughout the South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets. We are currently seeking a Planning & Pricing Analyst to join our Miami, FL team.
The Pricing & Planning Analyst will support daily pricing operations, sales analysis, and reporting activities. This role focuses on data handling, price monitoring, and supporting business decisions through analysis.
- Maintain and update price lists in internal systems (GPASS / AMOS)
- Support price adjustments based on market trends and internal strategy
- Analyze sales data and monitor pricing performance (margin, volume, trends)
- Assist in preparing regular reports and dashboards (Excel / Power BI)
- Support campaign pricing and promotion tracking
- Communicate with internal teams (Sales, SCM, HQ) for pricing-related topics
- Help identify pricing issues and suggest basic improvement actions
- Previous auto industry pricing/inventory experience is a plus
- Must be willing and able to travel to various countries in the SA/LATAM/CARR regions 3-5 times per year.
SUMMARY
- Under the direction of the Pricing & Planning Manager, the Pricing & Planning Analyst will be develop and implement effective Planning and Pricing Strategies to improve support to distributors, as well supporting MPMI performance KPIs: such as dealership parts sales, accessory sales, inventory efficiency and customer facing business processes. This position requires a high level of independence to achieve the assigned goals and objectives within the scope of existing policies and procedures. This assignment must be accomplished in collaboration and coordination with Sales & Marketing teams, as well other MPMI departments. This position will also be responsible for other data analysis and reporting as required.

Ongoing pricing and price maintenance of parts & accessories: 25%
Parts Pricing Management: 40%
Profit Margin Management: 20%
Marketing Promotions Support and Analysis: 20%
Reporting & Analyzing Data: 10%
1. FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Functions
· Implement HQ strategic price initiatives
· Maintain existing pricing database
· Develop and implement area distributors accessories business improvement action plans
· Define and execute scope of market research jointly with Sales & Marketing Team.
· Market analysis on competitive price position, price lead, product sales, performance and market and pricing trends
· Based on market research and benchmarking to other OEM’s develop price proposals to maximize MPMI profitability, while maintaining competitive market pricing
· Implement proposed prices after approval
· Success Tracking & Reporting (analyze and understand price change impact price elasticity, and price lead based on Competitive Pricing)
· Build pricing rules for segments / product groups
· Lead and participate on strategic projects like the GPASS implementation
· Reporting and presentation to management
· Plan and Organize Incentive programs
· Support Team regarding Promotions
· Customer Communication via ticket system
Nonessential Functions
· Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
2. QUALIFICATIONS
Experience and Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Marketing or Business
Administration
· 3 to 5 years’ experience in allocation, purchasing, marketing, price analysis, and planning
· Experience in auto parts sales, service, import/export or distribution
Skills
· Proficient in Microsoft programs such as: Power-Bi, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
· Full IT literacy including databases, order processing, sales and invoicing systems
· Experience in spare parts and accessory promotions is a plus
· Knowledge of pricing methods, tools and strategies
· Strong analytical skills and excellent business acumen
· Good knowledge of the after sales and motor trade parts and service business
· Profound Knowledge in pricing methods, tools and strategies
· Awareness of pricing sensitivities and influencing factors
· Ability to thoroughly analyze data, develop/recommend strategies and prepare business cases
· Good skills in communication and coordination, internally and externally
· Ability to work in cross functional and international teams
· Full IT literacy including databases and financial, order, sales and invoicing systems
· Bilingual English-Spanish is a plus
· The candidate must be able to interpret, resolve and disseminate information related to marketing and sales.
· Must be able prepare intermediate to advanced reports
3. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
· Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a
calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50%.
· This position is 100% in-office in-person M-F. There is no option for remote work from
home.
· Ability to travel 25-30% of the time to our South American, Central American, and
Caribbean markets.
