Guidewire Technical Architect

Northwest Partners is looking to hire an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect to work on a project with one of our premier clients in the insurance industry. This role will focus on leading architecture and development for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter platforms, supporting core Property and Casualty operations. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for professionals with deep Guidewire expertise, cloud deployment experience, and strong leadership skills.

What YOU will do:

• Architect enterprise solutions for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter

• Partner with IT and business teams to define solution roadmaps and system design

• Lead teams throughout development, testing, and deployment phases of complex programs

• Oversee both integrations and configurations across the InsuranceSuite platform

• Support AWS-based DevOps efforts including automation, deployment pipelines, and environment provisioning

• Drive hands-on development using Guidewire-specific and general technical tools

What YOU will bring us:

• 8+ years of experience in a senior technical role implementing Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or BillingCenter

• Proficiency in GOSU, GWCP, APD, PCF, EdgeAPI, XML, JSON, and Java

• Knowledge of AWS Cloud, EKS, DevOps tools (Jenkins, Tomcat), and monitoring platforms (DataDog, AppDynamics, Splunk)

• Strong understanding of P&C insurance with a focus on Personal or Commercial Auto lines

• Experience with enterprise data management, reinsurance accounting, and operational reporting is a plus

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

• Must be able to work onsite in Jacksonville, FL, with potential remote flexibility for the right candidate.
