Mammography Technologist II Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine screening and diagnostic mammography as well as breast localizations and specimen x-ray. Assist with stereotactic breast biopsy procedures.
• Maybe required to staff the Mobile Mammography Coach and provide coverage for mobile events, some of which are outside routine business hours.
• Meet MQSA and ACR requirements. Maintain < 2.5% repeat rate.
• Perform spot magnification and compression views as needed.
• Properly place films on multi-viewer for interpretation.
• Maintain accurate and complete information /records for MQSA and ACR.
• Accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in the organization's electronic health record system.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• Registered by ARRT in Radiography and Mammography.
• Minimum 6 months experience in mammography.
• Maintain CE requirements in the field of mammography as well as Radiology.
• No lifting greater than 20 pounds required.
• Occasional push-pull, of stretchers.
• Limited overhead work required.
• Ability to organize and maintain supply inventory.
• Some computer skills required.
• Through knowledge of testing procedures related to mammography, including sterile procedures.
