Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) (Boca Raton)
Avante at Boca Raton Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to Provide Physical Therapy services to patients by assisting in the assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Qualifications: • Ability to carry out treatment plans as designed by supervising therapist • Ability to document daily care as per established guidelines. • Ability to effectively communicate response to treatment intervention to residents, family, and other team members. Education and Experience: • Associate's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program. • Successful completion of the National Certification for P.T.A. • Current state licensure or license eligible. • 0-3 years of long-term care experience. Background Screening Requirement: This position requires background screening through the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
