MANAGER OF TICKET SALES, STADIUM OF THE FUTURE

Summary

The Jacksonville Jaguars, through Quantum Sports + Entertainment, are seeking highly motivated and dedicated sales candidates to work within the high energy environment of an NFL Ticket Sales Office. This position is responsible for maximizing sales revenues for the Jacksonville Jaguars Stadium of the Future through the recruiting, training, and development of a Sales Staff. Also, this position will be tasked with executing sales campaigns and participating in strategic planning.

In 2024, the Jaguars and the City of Jacksonville announced plans to move forward with a reimagined Stadium of the Future, securing Jaguars football in Jacksonville for generations to come, plus a continuation of annual traditions of the Florida-Georgia Football Classic and TaxSlayer Gator Bowl while also opening opportunities for future Super Bowls, Final Four tournaments, college football playoffs, marquee concerts and more. Using research derived from Jaguars fans, stadium guests and a comprehensive assessment of the facility's structure, the Stadium of the Future will be a world-class venue for a world-class city that showcases a facility that is environmentally friendly, cost effective and presents state-of-the-art innovation. The Stadium of the Future features a protective canopy, wider concourses, new communal spaces, scenic lookout decks, immersive in-bowl technology, new seating types and a public Floridian nature park.

The renovation commenced in February 2025 and will be ongoing throughout the next few years as the Stadium of the Future anticipates its grand opening in August 2028 bringing Jacksonville and its residents a stadium they deserve.

Job Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, train, and develop sales representatives.
  • Establish a long-term recruiting, training, and development program to attract, retain, and promote sales representatives.
  • Enhance presentation and appointment skills by ongoing coaching and supervision.
  • Implement various reporting elements in CRM to track revenue, pipelines, and other metrics.
  • Work closely with other department managers to accomplish other duties assigned.
  • Monitor weekly status of department by measuring productivity and results.
  • Assist staff with sales techniques and account management to ensure achievement of revenue goals.
  • Identify sales opportunities with staff through phone calls, email communication, in-person meetings, and prospecting events
  • Conduct department meetings to provide updates to staff and discuss relevant information.
  • Professionally communicate to gather all relevant details; communicate with supervisor and provide timely follow up.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs and product interest throughout sales campaigns. Assist in developing sales and marketing strategies for ticket packages.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Sport Management, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in sales in sports
  • Excellent customer service and people skills, with strong written and communication skills. Can effectively communicate and relate to all levels within and outside the organization; creates and builds positive and productive relationships.
  • Ability to consistently recruit top talent, develop annual and short-term sales strategies, and ability to set sales targets and help the team achieve them
  • Highly self-motivated with a desire to be successful
  • Not afraid to make tough decisions, gains input from others and moves decisions forward in the organization
  • Can respond quickly and effectively to changing trends and circumstances; embraces change and welcomes fresh perspectives.
  • Passion for providing excellent service and developing personal relationships

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Archtics ticketing system & Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Experience conducting interviews and managing people

About the Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional football team and a member of the National Football League's AFC South Division. The Jaguars are one of the NFL's youngest franchises, playing their first regular season home game on Sept. 3, 1995, in Jacksonville, Fla., and have since won four division titles.
