Overview

A well-established AV-rated law firm is seeking an experienced Guardianship Attorney to join its growing practice in Orlando. This role focuses primarily on complex guardianship matters for high-net-worth clients, including special needs and Medicaid planning matters.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience, excellent client relationship skills, and the ability to manage a sophisticated caseload in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities
Manage guardianship and related matters from intake through resolution
Conduct client consultations and provide strategic legal guidance
Draft, review, e-file, and serve pleadings and legal documents
Maintain consistent communication with clients and manage expectations effectively
Appear in court as needed throughout Florida
Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management
Develop and maintain professional relationships to support business growth
Qualifications
Active Florida Bar license required
5–10 years of experience in guardianship, Medicaid planning, estate planning, and/or special needs planning
Experience handling complex guardianship matters preferred
Litigation experience is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
