Hostess/Host

We are seeking an energetic and personable Hostess/Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure their dining experience begins on a positive note. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements efficiently. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help foster a friendly environment that encourages guest satisfaction and loyalty. Duties:

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using systems such as OpenTable.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest flow.
• Answer phone inquiries with courteous phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations.
• Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their experience.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times.

Social Media & Content:

• Capture photos and videos of food, drinks, and restaurant atmosphere.
• Help showcase daily specials, events, and promotions.

Experience:

• Previous host/hostess experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
• Strong background in food service and customer service roles, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
• Familiarity with Systems Open Table.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards, including serving procedures and guest engagement techniques.
• Excellent phone etiquette skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse guests.
• Comfortable with camera and filming.
• Good eye for aesthetics (lighting, angles, presentation).
