Staff Accountant

Randstad is seeking rising Staff Accountants across for specific direct hire, permanent roles with our client base in the Brickell, Miami area. We are seeking degreed professionals, with 2 - 3 years of experience in an accounting clerk or Junior Account type role, who are ready to transition into a full-cycle Staff Accountant role.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, have familiarity with an ERP system and be proficient using Excel. Candidates must be able to work onsite.

These are permanent, direct hire opportunities offering a base salary between $65k-$75k. Specifics regarding benefits, culture and schedule will be discussed individually with interested candidates.

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Prepare and post accurate journal entries.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts.
• Closing Cycles: Suppor the month-end and year-end closing procedures, including the preparation of accruals and adjustments.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the creation of monthly financial statement packages, such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Transactional Review: Hande accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Audit Preparedness: Gathering and organizing documentation to support internal and external audit requests.
