Job Summary
The Floor Lead is responsible for the management of the daily operations of our restaurant, including the development and performance management of employees. In addition, they ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience.
Essential Functions
Primary responsibilities include assisting the Tap Room Manager in:
- Training and motivating staff
- Delegate duties and tasks to staff to meet objectives and maximize resources
- Set and monitor quality and service standards for staff
- Communicate company policy, standards, and procedures to staff
- Ensure staff operate within company policies
- Introducing new crew members to their working areas and to the rules and regulations
- Assisting in monthly inventory
- Ensure adherence to cash management procedures
- Ensure adherence to stock control procedures
- Handling deliveries (receiving, processing, etc.)
- Make certain all deliveries are checked in correctly and documentation is correct
- Check stock is correctly rotated and stored to reduce wastage
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of restaurant
- Maintaining the condition of all consumables
- Overseeing certain kitchen tasks and maintaining a functional relationship with kitchen staff and leadership
- Promote, Practice, and Enforce compliance with fire, health, safety, and hygiene standards and regulations
- Dealing with difficult customers & resolving customer complaints promptly, professionally and in accordance with established guidelines
Additional Functions
- Keeps the Tap Room Manager promptly and fully informed of all issues (i.e., problems, unusual matters of significance and positive events) and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action.
- Completes job responsibilities and performance objectives in a timely and effective manner and in accordance with Playalinda Brewing Company policies and procedures.
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conducive to maximum employee morale, productivity, and efficiency/ effectiveness.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or request ed.

Educational Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Two years on the job experience
- Food Handler Certification with an expect ion of receiving Food Managers Certification within 90 days
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of t time.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 35 pounds
- Frequently washing own hands and manual dexterity

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
