Job Title: Bookkeeper – Real Estate Management

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team and help keep our financial operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple properties
• Record day-to-day financial transactions including rent payments, vendor invoices, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements and property-level reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting for property operations
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including follow-ups on outstanding balances
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and escrow accounts
• Process payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Support annual audits and tax preparation with external accountants
• Collaborate with property managers to ensure timely and accurate financial data
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems

✅ Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in real estate or property management
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, AppFolio, Yardi, or similar)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
