Accounts Payable Concierge
:
SUMMARY
This role is responsible for performing Accounts Payable and Accounting tasks related to the efficient processing of Accounts Payable transactions per MorseLife Health System's company policy.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Perform Accounts Payable functions, as assigned, for any of the following companies: o Joseph L. Morse Geriatric Center, Inc o The Tradition of the Palm Beaches, Inc. o MorseLife Foundation, Inc. o MorseLife Homecare, Inc. o MorseLife Therapy Corp. o Kramer Senior Services, Inc. o Nearly New Thrift Shop, Inc. o Friends of MorseLife, Inc.
- Review all invoices for appropriate backup documentation and approval before payment.
- Input invoices accurately, entering the correct account numbers, the correct descriptions, and accurate vendor information.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail.
- Process check requests and purchase orders (P.O.s).
- Match invoices to checks, obtain signatures for checks, and distribute checks accordingly.
- Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoice payments.
- Reconcile vendor statements and research and correct discrepancies.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, per company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
MorseLife Health System
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- High-level proficiency with Excel.
- 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts and to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

MorseLife Health System
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, and the risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
WORKING HOURS
Scheduled hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required depending on workload and special events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
