 About Us: 
 Milcarsky’s is a growing small business committed to selling, delivering and installing quality appliances with a strong focus on integrity, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations. 
 Position Overview: 
 You will gain tangible experience in month-end close, enter and adjusting journal entries, understanding accruals and working with and supporting the operations staff. If you enjoy accounting, and are looking for an opportunity to work for an amazing team of experience professionals where you will learn a great deal, and have an opportunity for rapid advancement this could be an ideal role for you. Our ideal candidate will also be a person who thrives in a small business environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats. 
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
 - Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
 - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as directed by the CFO
 - Support budget preparation and cash flow forecasting
 - Assist with filing state tax returns
 - Assist in other special projects that may be requested by the CFO or others
 
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
 - 2+ years of accounting experience (small business experience a plus)
 - Proficiency in accounting software (Epass experience is a plus)
 - Experience in the household appliance industry would be helpful but is not required.
 - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
 - Proficiency with Excel
 - Excellent communication and time management abilities
 - Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion
