About Us:
Milcarsky’s is a growing small business committed to selling, delivering and installing quality appliances with a strong focus on integrity, customer satisfaction, and team collaboration. We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team and support our day-to-day financial operations.

Position Overview:
You will gain tangible experience in month-end close, enter and adjusting journal entries, understanding accruals and working with and supporting the operations staff. Our ideal candidate will also be a person who thrives in a small business environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and receivable


• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts


• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as directed by the CFO


• Support budget preparation and cash flow forecasting


• Assist with filing state tax returns


• Assist in other special projects that may be requested by the CFO or others

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting


• 2+ years of accounting experience (small business experience a plus)


• Proficiency in accounting software (Epass experience is a plus)


• Experience in the household appliance industry would be helpful but is not required.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Proficiency with Excel


• Excellent communication and time management abilities


• Ability to work independently and handle sensitive information with discretion

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
